# Searching and Finding Product Sheets, Variants, or Asset Files

You can perform two types of searches based on your needs:

* Quick search
* Advanced search

# Quick Search

1. From any page in Quable PIM, the quick search bar is always available at the top of your screen.

2. Enter keywords related to your search in the search bar:

   > ⚠️ Important Note
   >
   > The quick search bar allows you to find documents based on their name or code, as well as variants. However, it cannot be used to find assets files or classifications.

3. An auto-completion system displays a dropdown list of search results as soon as you enter at least three characters.

4. Click on a search result in the auto-completion window to directly access the product sheet.

5. Alternatively, press "Enter" to display the full search results in the Advanced Search window.

# Advanced Search

1. Go to the **Advanced Search** page in the left menu bar.

2. The search parameters are located at the top of the page.

3. Select the type of object you want to search for from the list:

   * Document (product sheets)  
   * Assets (i.e. Media)
   * Variants  
   * Classification  

   </div>

4. If you are searching for a document, specify the type of document you want to find (This list varies depending on your Quable PIM data model).

5. Enter keywords related to your search in the search bar (optional).

6. The search results will appear in the main window.

7. **Double-click** on a search result to open the page directly, or **click on the button** at the end of the row to open it in a new tab.
