The Activity Reports page is where you can view the progress of your Quable PIM user and administration processes.

Process Types

Because certain processes have a significant impact on your Quable PIM data, they need to be monitored closely. These high-priority processes are:

  • Bulk Edits
  • Imports & Exports
  • Indexes
  • Activating / Deactivating data languages (locales)

The search exports are not displayed in the activity reports

Monitoring these critical processes enables you to quickly verify their completion and/or investigate and correct any issues encountered.

Acitivy Reports Page

The page displays a table of your high-priority process types.

The table columns are described in the following sections.

Date

The date and time the process was launched. The date and time is displayed in the time zone specified in your account profile.

Description

A brief text to indicate how the process was launched (e.g., "Manual indexation launched").

For imports or exports with a profile, the profile name is displayed.

Type

The type of process performed. The information displayed depends on the type of process performed. The column displays:

The color coding makes it easy to tell which processes require your attention.

Data Type

The type of data involved in the process. The data types are:

  • Assets
  • Classification
  • Channel
  • Document
  • Links
  • List of values
  • Locales (data languages)
  • Variants

Files

For import and export processes, you can click on the File link to download the file used for the process.

  • Imports - The imported file is downloaded in its original format.
  • Exports - The exported file is downloaded in a compressed format.

The Files column is empty for all other process types.

Summary

The Summary column includes a More information link for Bulk Edit and Import / Export process. Clicking on the link opens a summary report about the completed process.

The report is made up of three sections.

Process StatusThis section indicates the final condition of the process.
Details This section provides specific facts concerning the process. The information displayed depends on the process performed:

Bulk Edits
  • Edited
  • Data locales
  • Attributes changed (number of attributes)
Imports & Exports
  • Total lines - The total number of lines imported or exported.
  • Lines accepted - (Success (Issues) state) The total number of lines successfully imported or exported.
  • Lines ignored - (Success (Issues) state) The total number of lines ignored during the import or export process.

Note: This section does not appear for Failed processes.
SummaryThis section summarizes the activity. The information displayed depends on the process performed:

Bulk Edits
  • Name - A brief text to indicate how the process was launched.
  • Type - The type of process performed.
  • Author - The user that launched the process.
  • Start date - The date and time the process was launched.
  • Duration - The length of time the process ran.
  • Data type - The type of data involved in the process.

Imports & Exports
  • Name - A brief text to indicate how the process was launched.
  • Type - The type of process performed.
  • Start date - The date and time the process was launched.
  • Duration - The length of time the process ran.
  • Data type - The type of data involved in the process.
  • File format - The format of the file used for the process.

The summary report includes a Report File link to download a file analysis report for successful import processes.

Filtering Activities

At the top of the table, filters are available to limit and sort the displayed processes.

You can filter the displayed activities by State, process Type, Data type, and/or within specified Start and End dates.

Select a filter value and the filter is automatically applied.
